We are scheduled for septic and land grading, or is it grating, for Monday at noon. We have been told our house plans are on the desk of one of the inspectors…which is better than having just been turned in. The $400 porta potty will be delivered this week also, so if any of you are in Leicester and get the “urge” no need to find a friendly gas station; Possum Manor will be ready.
Today we went to Garden Ridge in Greenville, SC and bought outdoor seat cushions. Why don’t they have a Garden Ridge in Asheville?
Since we do not have any construction photos to share, I will give you a look at our street. If you are standing in our soon to be driveway and look right, you go up to the one home up the hill. They are living in a cute little cabin while he builds a round home, himself. They lived there for a year without electricity, and they are the ones with the beautiful chickens. Can you imagine a year without power? And they have a three year old child. Good for them. Me, I need to hear that flush.
