No permit, no internet , no patience

Are you getting bored yet with the “no permit” rant? We never heard from our contractor yesterday, which means the county did not have the permit finished. Those of you who really know me, know I have no patience; but I have been doing such a good job waiting. It has continued to rain each day, so we probably would not have been able to have the foundation dug any way, but I might have felt better about the whole thing if it had just been the fault of the rain. We need the rain desperately, so I would not have been able to complain. Ha! That would not have stopped me!

The internet went out during a storm last night, and today when I called to have my modem rebooted, I found out that the storm had blown it. So, I went to the Charter office and got a new/refurbished one. While I was there I asked them to take the premium channels off of our cable, only to be told that with the package we have now, if we dropped the premium stations our bill would go up five dollars. Have you ever head such crap?

So lastly, I just have no patience left. Can you blame me?
