Odds and ends

It is Sunday, and again I have nothing to report. Well, nothing in the house building anyway. We have our septic permit in hand and are awaiting the building permit. Then we are off….

We have an appointment about cabinets on Thursday. So many decisions. It is all fun, but stressful also…but in a good way.

We had to change our fabric on two chairs, as they discontinued the one we wanted without telling anyone. It was not a big deal, as they are two chairs for the upstairs. We actually like what we chose now even better.

Our furniture dude is Chad, who has helped up a lot. He even posted here last night. Chad has a good eye for color and so does Ann, which is a good thing since I believe I am partly color blind. If you need furniture, call Chad. I have his store number on the links to the left.

The funny thing is, though you can see our fabric in the corner, Chad had the nerve to be busy with other buying clients when we arrived. That is THEIR paperwork he is doing.

Ann wanted me to tell all of you that she still loves her truck, and she asked me to put a good photo of it on the blog. So I am. I have to say that truck is actually comfortable to ride in and drive.

The flowers are finally coming up. We had such a devastating freeze near the end of April that flowers and trees alike just lost all their leaves and blooms. It looked like winter here at the beginning of May. But, they are coming back; though, our azalea bushes have never given us any blooms.

This is a city bird, whose breed we know not. They are tough buggers, and they don’t allow the squirrels to bully them.
