Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Our building permit will be signed tomorrow!! 
Well, we have spent the last two days packing and packing and packing. We are not moving for about two months, but we thought we would get a jump on it.
Asheville has not had rain for a very long time. The grass in our backyard crunches when you walk. We sneak out and water our flowers and front lawn, though there is no water restriction yet. A church down the street has a sign on its front lawn that says, “Well water in use” as the sprinklers are running.
Finally, this afternoon we got about a half hour of loud thunder, lightening, rain and hail. We actually went on the front porch to take in the experience. Everything is so brown here that it looks as if it is late in the summer, not the beginning.
Haven’t stopped by the blog in over a week, wowowowow.
I hope that by the time you read this you have the sacred permit, and can begin your foundation, loved the graphic with that.
County departments can be very nerve racking at times. I have a couple of friends that built their first home in buncomba county and it took them a month to get theirs..they went to the office and they said to them “oops it seems it got over looked” I would stay after them if they make ya wait to long.
