Odds and Ends

We are making progress. Cement is to be poured today at noon. Block mason comes tomorrow. Heck, we are only three weeks behind. Seems a neighbor down the mountain reported to the county that we were building a house on the mountain cliff (we don’t even have a mountain cliff), and she was afraid it would fall on her house. Mind you there is technically no one below us, but she was afraid and told the county she would sue them. So, they had to have an engineer come out and approve the plans, which show a house on flat land. Grrrrr.

Larry and Tricia, Ann’s brother and sister-in-law, came to see the property, and we insisted on a photo opportunity.

Ann has started at the casino. It is a great job, horrible hours, with lots of opportunity to move up. Here is a photo of her first night.

We have worked with Lowe’s about kitchen cabinets, and they gave up a great print out of the way it will look. The stools are not ours; ours are different.

The puppy is getting better. He went on his first trip to SuperPetz yesterday, where he insisted everyone pet him. Here is a photo of him asleep with lint hanging out of his mouth. I puled it out, and it just kept coming. It must have been a foot piece of lint!
