This is the back wall with the openings for the vents. The dirt will be pushed up there so you won’t see all that grey block. The deck will come off this side of the house, with the hot tub straight ahead.
They say they will finish today. Then we wait for the house guy.
For those of you who have asked about Brando…NONE OF YOU…hahaha anyway, he is getting big. We have a bit of a problem because we will not be in the new house by the time I go back to work in the middle of August. We cannot crate that boy for eight hours, and we surely cannot trust him to wander and chew up the house. Our friend Tena told us she takes her dog to a doggie day care whenever she is going to be away from the house for a long time. (Asheville frowns on people who leave their dogs in the yard to bark all day.) So, I went and looked at it, and we decided that we would send him there until we move. It is on my way to work. Once we move we will have a doggie door, so we would not have to leave those puppy pads down for him to chew to shreds. We are calling it preschool. He will be neutered in two weeks (don’t tell him) and his shots will be finished, so he will be admitted. Sadly, no scholarship.

finally caught up on the Tale of Possum Mamor! What fun to read and see the photo’s. Brando has had quite the starring role in this saga.
