No pictures today, but I have a story. We got a call yesterday morning from the foreman of three of the projects our contractor has going. Seems during the weekend, the contractor went to all sites, removed all tools, and has FLOWN THE COOP! Any money he has not used toward our house is gone with him. He just left. One of the projects he had was the remodeling of a multi-million dollar house in the Biltmore area. That man is out a whole bucket of money. I think he will be the one heading the class action suit.
Our house frame is arriving on Thursday, which has nothing to do with the runaway contractor. His foundation was not even complete as of this morning, but the foreman brought someone out to finish it.
The foreman is scrambling to find people to complete our house. We are hopefully meeting with the roofer and plumber on Friday, the electrician on Monday or Tuesday. We are hoping their quotes will fit into the money we have left, considering the contractor’s fee will not be a part of it.
There is so much to be done, and we have to be out of this house by the end of September.

omg kathie..I am so sorry to hear this. I hope they get that guy. I have to be careful in this heat with my epilepsy..but sense I am out of work for now if you need us we will come
I appreciate that Justin. Luckily, what is left is licensed things that have to be inspected. We just have to buy all materials up front and have them delivered so that the people can work. We hopefully get the shingles tomorrow.
This guy will have to pay us back or go to jail. Our loss is little, but one of the people gave him lots and lots of money.
