Hello, could I please speak to Possum Manor

We did not want our names in the phone book, so we just had Possum Manor put in. I forgot to register it with “Do Not Call,”  until I got the first call. It went like this:

Me: Hello

Them: Could I please speak to Possum Manor?

Me: Speaking

Them: Can I call you Possum?

hahahahahahaah It has happened twice. Now we are registered.

The floor is finished!!!! It looks great. We had such problems in the living room; because, the floor was so uneven. Those horrible people we hired at first really did a terrible job putting down the plywood floors. It is so uneven. We we got into the kitchen area, which was put down by Ronnie, everything was even. Ann’s brother Larry, who has helped us so much, and I got our rhythm and we just plowed through. I will post a photo when the sun comes up.

I have some random photos to put up. We brought an organic turkey for Thanksgiving that came in a box. We went to Ann’s family for dinner, so I put the turkey in the freezer, but the cats adopted the box.

The cats are now going outside. Well, two of them are. Pippin, the cat in the box, goes out from sun up to sun down. I have no idea where he goes, but he is clean and dry when he comes in, so I think he is not going very far.

It has been very cold, and I have not winterized the bird bath. I usually keep the little thing in it that keeps the water from completely freezing. Ironically, I have it in the bird bath, just not connected.

We have lots of straw around because we have so much mud around. Two of the bales are near the back door and the dogs seem to think they are part of a fort.

The pod is more than halfway emptied. Good thing too, since it is being picked up on Wednesday. Well, it will be picked up Wednesday if it does not rain and make the driveway muddy. The guy will not drive on mud. We plan to really empty it tonight when Ann gets home.
