Since our frost last week, the colors have just burst out! I don’t remember a prettier color season. It was almost seventy today, but tomorrow it is suppose to be lucky if it gets out of the fifties.
This is the view from the office. I am going to figure out how to hang a bird feeder in the tree just outside the window.
This is looking out one of the living room windows. Notice we still have the stickers on the windows. We had to leave them there until after final inspection, but have not had time since to take them off. This was the first time in months that we did not have something pressing to do, and we took full advantage of it. The carpet is going to be delivered again tomorrow. We will see.
This is the backyard. I was standing on the step watching the dogs run around. Hopefully, in the next month or so we will have a deck here too.
This is not a very good photo, but it is one of the highlights of the house, for me. ICE. We have ice. We did not have room in the last freezer to even put a bag of store bought ice in it.
And finally, Pippin has found his favorite place. He walks the banister so well, even Olga Korbet would be jealous.

What a journey and what a gem of a manor. It really looks too lavish for you two ole possum-ettes but you will adjust. With or w/o a 20′ Christmas tree it will be a sight to behold because of the views you have as well as all the neat plans you are making.
What a great picture to accompany your schedule…..I am still laughing.
