The Latest….

I cannot find my camera, but am sure it is buried under all the clothes still in my car. I hope to spend the weekend organizing.

In the news…they caught the contractor who stole our money….in Texas. He took over a half million from different people, but were lucky and only lost ten thousand.  Seems he has a crack problem….and we helped him get high.  Spoke to the detective yesterday and found out we cannot go after him in a criminal way because he actually did some work before he split. We have to sue him.  The problem with that is that he has no money now.  It is too much money for small claims, but really not enough to hire a lawyer.  We will count it as a business loss and take it off our income tax.

We have internet now. We have cable.  What more can we need?  When I find my camera I am going to take pictures of the mess. Because we do not have flooring yet, we are walking on plywood stained with red clay mud.  The one cat use to have white feet,  but now she has orange feet.  Carpet was not put in, a second time, because they had cut it too narrow.  They are coming out again on Tuesday; then we can organize the upstairs. In two weeks the flooring will be put downstairs.  That will be a great day!!  We need to do window molding, but that will have to wait until the pod gets emptied.

When I find that darn camera, this blog will come alive again.
