I sometimes wonder how to tell if a new dog is happy, content, and settled in a new home. This might just be my proof:
Think I might be right? That fifty pound eight month old puppy is not going to see his first birthday if he does not stop chewing things up. Wait until Ann gets home and sees the finger of her leather gloves. The other day it was a Dr. Marten boot. The list goes on and on.
Here is my self portrait. I even dusted off the mirror to take the picture.
Then I went outside and took a picture of the Possum Manor sign. This is one of my favorite things.
It is amazing now that the leaves are off the trees that there are so many mountains around. It is a great winter view. Summer it will be very private. I did not even know some of those houses were across the way. I noticed their Christmas lights the other night.
Xena and Brando seem to get along when they are outside. Inside Xena tolerates him.
Isn’t Xena beautiful? Crazy, but beautiful.
RD cannot hear anything anymore. He is always just a beat behind, but still the greatest dog I have ever known.
This log looking thing is a BIG rock. Ann wants to incorporated it into the landscape if we can get it towed up here. It is huge.
If you look very closely you will see Pippin (yellow cat) hunting who knows what. He has just started going outside, and he stays out all day long.
Finally, our living room. We still have to finish the window framing, but it looks good and homey. We are happy with it.
