The man scheduled to start the bathroom did not show up. He was to be there at nine, but called at one to say he could not come. He is now scheduled to come on Saturday. If he does not, he does not have a job. It gets really frustrating. The lumber for the back deck is to arrive today. I will certainly take a photo!
I love snow, but this year I want spring. I want to plant flowers and schrubs. I want green.
OOOoo, Rosemary and Lavender bushes all along the bank down the driveway and Pink and purple flowers on the bank across from the front door. That would be beautiful. LOL
I love, and I mean love, rosemary bushes…lavender also. Good ideas. I want honey suckle…hahah I will stink out the neighborhood!
Oh, sister! I’m with you! Spring can’t get here fast enough this year!!!
I would put honeysuckle bushes by the house….maybe to the left of the front door (left edge of the porch when it’s built). It would provide, not only sweet smelling breezes but a colorful shady corner of the porch. Nice spot for a lone chair or swing or whatever space allows.
I have learned that the honeysuckle needs to be somewhere where we can make sure we keep it from taking over the mountain. I like that bittersweet bush too, the one with the orange berries; but I have learned that no proper nursery will sell it in this state. It just takes over. I can get it on line, but if I do, I will have to really watch it. It is wonderful having a neighbor who is an herbalist, and knows all this stuff.
