We are excited! We have someone to do the second bathroom, and he is going to begin on Tuesday. I am hoping that means we will have a new bathroom by next week at this time. Also, next Saturday the other guy will begin the back deck. I cannot even imagine how much mud that will stop from entering the house. When he is finished, he will begin the front porch. I really think that will make the house look like a true cabin in the woods. I am going to Lowes today to get a shower and a toilet for the new bathroom. I think setting them up out front would be funny.
I think we are the only people in the county that have ice and snow left. Our driveway is a mess! Hopefully today the sun will melt it all away.
The birds are eating us out of house and home. We have one male cardinal; I have never seen the female. (Just as I clicked “save” on the this blog I looked and there was the female cardinal. It is a first.) We have lots and lots of little birds too. I have a couple of thistle sock feeders, a fly through feeder, a regular hanging feeder with only sunflower seeds, suet, and a woodpecker block. All are being consumed as I type. We also keep the bird bath filled and have a little thing that keeps at least part of the water from freezing.

We still have ice and snow behind the house but not the driveway. That’s got to be a pain! You could throw some ice melt down one morning on a day it is to be in the upper 40’s (tomorrow). That should melt it.
I love the birdies.
