Deck is done….phew!

It makes the house feel bigger. It has been to cold to sit long, but at least it is there. We got the deck furniture out of storage, which made room for some of the boxes sitting in the guest room right now. When those are put in storage, there will be enough room to actually make it look like a guest room!!!!

I moved the bird feeders, and it took those stupid birds a day to find the feeders….six or ten feet from where they were.

This is the side of the house. They deck guy felt it was better to make a small platform and make the steps come from the front than fight the hill. It worked out beautifully.

And what is construction without construction mess?

Finally, with no connection to the deck, is Pippin. Pippin spends most of his time outside now. He learned to use the dog door before RD did, and uses it a hundred times a day. Today for some reason he decided to snooze inside, in Roxanne’s heated bed. He is a really nice cat.

We still have not found an electrician to connect the hot tub. It seems they don’t like to take on little jobs. Since when is a couple of hundred dollars a little job? We also have a new cover on order.
