HAPPY BIRTHDAY RD…..HE IS FOURTEEN TODAY. If he could hear me I would congratulate him on his old age.
Sounds important doesn’t it? The electrician came out today to look a the hot tub. He will be back next Saturday to electrify it. It would be sooner, but he was slow and contracted out to a nearby county. Now he is getting local work, but he is under contract. So, he will order the parts at the electrical warehouse, and we will pick it up this week. Then he will do the labor on Saturday.
This has been a stressful week. Ann has been sick with some hideous infection, and I had a double root canal done on Tuesday. We were a mess. Good news is that we are both better. Ann is back to work, and I do not need to go to rehab for prescription pain killers.
I wanted to tell you all about a link someone showed me. www.pandora.com is a free radio site, but the really neat thing is that you get to chose the kind of music you want to hear. You do not make a play list, but give them the name of one artist or song you like. From there they make you a station that only plays similar music. You can be as specific as you want. If they play a song you like like you can tag it as a like and they will play more of that person. If you do not like it you tell them and it will never play again. I have a mountain music station and a folk station. (Yes, they are greatly different.) Try it, it is free.
Brando goes to puppy school tomorrow. I really have mixed feelings. He has learned the basic tricks, but last week he did nothing but bark. The teacher had to spray him with water to get him to shut up. He is all about food and the lady next to us brought the good puppy crack, while I just had ordinary treats. He was awful. One lady told me Brando was the perfect name for him. What the heck does that mean? Then on the way home I saw him start to drool and I knew we were in trouble. I pulled into a parking lot and got him out just in time for him to throw up all the puppy treats he had eaten. Poor guy get car sick almost every time. What are we going to do when we go to the other house every weekend in the summer?

Oh, you guys! I’m sorry you’ve had such a yucky week, but I’m glad to hear you are both feeling better. Aside from our loss earlier this week, Kaia had a horrid fever/virus with delirium. We need to do a fire dance or something and get the negative vibes off of our mountain!

sorry to hear about your awful week, but glad to hear your both on the mend….funny you should mention about pandor.com…..I actually found that site last week when i decided i wanted to listen to music while on the computer so i googled listening to music and that was one of the websites that was listed…..it’s very cool!
