Photos, photos and more photos…
First I forgot to write about Brando’s unfortunate injury. He is aggressive. I have said that before. We are having some private training done at the end of the month for this situation. Well, Friday evening he was fussing with his back. He really would not let us look at it, but when we finally did, there was a big ole puncture. It was deep. Saturday morning he was crying and crying, so I called the vet and they took us right in. Hmmm, it seems it is a bite mark. One of the dogs had obviously had it. I can name that one dog, Xena, because RD does not have canine teeth on top. Don’t have to be part of CSI for that one. They shaved and cleaned the wound and gave him antibiotic…and a pain shot. Well, the poor guy could not function all afternoon. He just stood swaying and drooling. He is much better today, but this afternoon he started fussing with it again, so I gave him one of the pain pills the vet sent home for him. He is out cold right now.
The grass is coming up!!!!! Get out the lawn mower!!
Boogie helps with the lumber (I actually ran for my camera because she was sitting on the hood of the truck, but she moved.)
While Pippin rests on the back deck…
Our new door is ready to be put in on the next not rainy Saturday. (Notice the recycle bid had to get into the photo.)
I bought a small wide angle lens for my camera, mostly for this summer’s Outer Banks visit. I am not so sure it does much more than without the lens. I had to crop the curved area around the photo also. The first one is without…the second one is with.

Oooooh, pour Brando! I hope he’s feeling better. And you know, Zena had to wait until he was turned around to bite him! That’s bad manners in fighting! She didn’t even look him in the eye! Hopefully he will leave it alone and let it heal.

But you see, Xena is a really chicken, and the only way was for her to get him when he left. It is healing nicely, but he has not learned a thing.

Awwww, poor Brando,
I’m guessing by now that the wound has healed.
