Well, Almost

They did not finish the porch today. The got the gates on, the steps placed, and part of the beams nailed.

I can really tell how good it will look. The nice thing about the gates is that we can let the dogs out in the from, which they like. It will be even better when it is shady for them. The cats love being outside, and they love climbing. The carpenters were not gone ten minutes when I looked up and saw Maudie walking the roof like a feline Olga Korbet. Maudie is fourteen years old!

Even Roxanne was outside today. This is the cat who has refused to even climb the stairs to the second floor. I saw her midway down the driveway.  Interesting day.  Pippin rolled in the grass; Boogie just relaxed on the back deck rail.
