What a mess I have made of things here. My plan this weekend was to paint the guest room and laundry, since the absence of gas made a trip to Possum Manor West impossible. We had all the paint we needed, as we bought it in a energetic moment, but did not completed the task. So, I took four cans of paint to Lowes on Saturday morning (also was able to get gas) and had them shake them. No problem. On the way home, I stopped at a store I will not name for fear they will come get me, and did a little shopping. When I opened the back of the car to put in my purchases a can of paint came tumbling out, hit the cement, lid came off, and the paint made a huge pool behind my car. What did I do? I am ashamed to say I left. I did go back this afternoon to see if I could get a blog photo. I could not, as they had put cardboard over it. I will get one this week.
I got the guest room painted today. Two blue walls, two cream walls. I am not a good painter. I have it everywhere. I miss spots. I am just not good. I did the blue first, and while I was painting with the cream I heard something in the living room. At first I did not check, but something in the back of my mind told me I should. I walked into the living room to find that the dogs had knocked the half full can of blue paint over, once again the lid came off, and the paint was now pooling on the wood floor and front door rug. RD ran out the dog door when I saw it, but he takes the guilt for anything that happens. I have no idea who or how, but what a mess to clean up. The rug is ruined. I have it laying in the driveway right now, and the dogs are barking at it.
Another surprise was with the cats. We had been lax about putting the last three vents into the basement/crawl space because the cats were going in and out. We thought it was a nice warm place for them in the winter. (Though they use the dog door and can come in and sleep on a nice warm bed in the winter if they wished.) Anyway, when I went down there on Friday to get the soon to be spilled paint, I was made aware that those cats were using the basement for more than just sleeping. I could smell it. So, I went and got the last three vents, and we will be putting them in on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Frustrating weekend.

I have not rearranged the furniture, that is clutter you see in your dream, and it is covering the stuff you remember! Now about going to jail….hmmmm…don’t know what I could have done. What had I done in the dream?

don’t know or can’t remember what you did to be going to jail…..I think I just miss ya and it was part of my emotions coming thru because I was hysterical that I wasn’t going to see you in about 20 years or so…..and the clutter nah, it was a totally different house….maybe it was clutter, because I think it was supposed to be my mom’s house with just a slightly different floor plan hahaha (just kiddin’ mom)…..I always have dreams of houses that have secret rooms or passages that I discover…..really bizarre.
