I have blogged more this week than any other week, I think. I did not go to Possum Manor West this weekend. I stayed and did a lot around the Manor. Since the false scare of no gas drove it through the roof over night, I did not venture out with the car. I did get a lot done, and feel good about it.
One of the things I did was finally put up our “Come on it Cowgirl” sign. We bought it years ago and now have a house it actually is perfect for.
I potted mums too. I don’t think they are doing very well. That is what you get when you buy your flowers at the grocery store.
See the possum hanging behind the sign? hahahah I bought a stuffed possum and hung it on the porch. I took a picture of it with my phone and sent it to Ann at work. Her response was, “Now we really are white trash!”
Pippin has taken to sleeping in one of the front porch rail planters. When I planted the mums, I left that one empty…well, except for the dirt that is still in there.
I took a few bird photos this afternoon in between washing dog beds and other fun jobs.
Do you think the cardinal thought the bird below the feeder was real?

Surfed in and had to laugh at your post!!! I bought the same possum (we named him Pyewackett aka Possum Pye)…he is nestled in the arms of m 5 foot black bear in my sunroom….and yes the white trash comment tickled me…my sister saw the same thing when she came in my house LOL!…i told her i guess i will have to make a beer can wreath for the holidays!!! Love your blog!
