Possum Manor West in pictures….Carrie’s pictures

I have not had the pleasure of being at Possum Manor West in a couple of weeks, and I fear the chickens will not remember me when I do finally get there. We will be up there for Thanksgiving, but I will be back for the weekend. Oh to be so busy!!!

I left my Sony Mavica digital camera with Carrie, and I am beginning to fear she just might show me up! I am going to post some of her work. She has an eye…well actually she has two of them, but she is getting to be a darn good photographer!

The first two are Carrie’s dogs Stella Blue and Usti. She got Stella to keep Usti company when our dogs are not out there. He just got so depressed and lonesome when alone, but oh my gosh does he love Stella. They are funny to watch, and she has taught him to get into big trouble.

Nooska is Carrie’s cat. Nooska is the cat who spends his days laying around in the chicken coop. I guess if he was going to eat one he would have done it when the chickens were much smaller. They are now bigger than he is. Anyway, he loves Stella too.

For a month or so now, Stella has been digging trenches in the backyard. It paid off finally. She caught two moles. Carrie took them, in this bucket, across the street and let them go. They were unhurt, but had a bit of dog spit on them. Ugly buggers aren’t they?

This is across the street from Possum Manor West. Beautiful fall we had.

Carrie had a few visiting Monarchs the week before last. These are amazing photographs, and I am really impressed with them.
