I missed a few days for a couple of reasons. First I was miffed because the blog people who sponsor the “blog each day for a month” thingie could not seem to get me listed amongst the people participating. Not a big deal but it cost me my motivation. Secondly, I have company. My brother and sister-in-law are here from Michigan. They are really easy company, and it has been great.

It has also rained for three days, which is odd because we are in a drought. It has not been hot tub weather either, and not just because of the rain. My brother is putting down the tile on the kitchen counter. We have lived here a year, and we have had the tile on the counter top…but just sitting there on the counter top. We had to go to the tile place yesterday and do thirty cuts ( I have the lingo down pat), and he has glued it down. This morning he will do the back splashes and then grout. These are the before the back splashes went up. I will up date as it happens….lol.
