But this time they closed the schools!!! It does not take much. I went out in the afternoon and slid only a little. The problem was getting back up the mountain. 
The birds were eating like crazy; I was too for some reason!!
We have what the real estate agents call “Winter View.”
We need to put the little electric thing in the bird bath that keeps the water from freezing.
More birds….more eating.
We got nothing. Nothing at all! I was mad!
We did not get even an inch, but it is icy. I got down the hill with no problem, but I almost did not get up. I do not have four wheel drive this year, only front wheel, and there is really a difference.
We are thinking of looking for a cheap, used Jeep to insure at least one of us getting to work. Luckily, when it is bad, there is no school.
