I am back home now. I drove to South Carolina to pick up a green house. Sam’s here ran out of them, and the South Carolina store had not sold even one. I found the same one on line for over two hundred dollars more, not even counting the shipping, so the hour drive each way was worth it. The odd thing was that it all came in two boxes. One was eight feet long, which I am assuming is the frame. The other is only about four inches thick, about three feet by four feet. I cannot image all the panels are in there, but they say they are. This will be erected next week at Possum Manor West. We are starting the garden early. I picked up a bag of strawberry plants last weekend. Ended up there were 81 in the bag. I guess I will be making strawberry jam again, lots of it.
It was a clear day, and I thought I should take a house picture since I had not taken one in at least three days. I miss the leaves on the trees, but we now have real mountain views.
This the new Possum Manor sign Ann got me for Christmas. I love it.
This is the best Maudie can do for holiday spirit. She is sixteen and I fear it might be her last Christmas. She has told me that her life on Earth will not be done until she can blind Brando in one eye and open one of his nostrils. He chases her whenever possible.
This is Pippin doing you know what in the hill. He concentrates so.
