I can never wait until Christmas!!!

My family can attest to this. I can keep a secret better than most, but I cannot keep my mouth shut when it comes to Christmas. But this morning it was not me; it was Ann. She suggested we exchange one gift. Did I resist? Heck no! So we opened one each. This is what I got from her:

Each time I get into the hot tub I bring a cell phone, the house phone, my Nintendo lite, a drink, a book….or a combination. This morning my coffee fell off, and then my book fell off the edge. I actually said to her that I wish there was a floating table available for hot tubs. She said there was one in the trunk of her car, and she would give it to me in an hour. I laughed…she was right!!! I am soooo delighted. It has water bags too, so you can place it on the side of the hot tub.

I got my hippie-hearted Ann a lava lamp. She was delighted.

For breakfast today we had the old southern traditional biscuits. On them we had the best chunky apple butter from the Moose Cafe here in Asheville, and we had my very own strawberry! It was a good year for strawberries, and the preserves are really good.

Pssst….maybe I can get another gift out of her later. heehee
