Who wants a cookie????

I am still at a loss as to what to blog this week. It is just a cold, dull, winter week. I did buy all the stuff to make lentil soup and oatmeal cookies. That will cheer this place up. Now I just have to find the time. I am actually planning to return to the gym this afternoon. It has been over a week since my last visit. I have honestly not had the energy. Some weeks are like that.

I could take a video of the mess in my classroom, but the health department might see it. Oh, my school made the news yesterday. Seems there was a loaded gun on campus. It was in one of the parking lots, and the vehicle in which it was stashed did not even belong to a student. The almost adult owner of the vehicle put the gun in the book bag of the a student when the police approached. That is the official report. Two were arrested for the weapon, one was arrested for drug paraphernalia. I have never understood that law. Boy have carried condoms in their wallets for years, does not mean they are getting anywhere. Why would have drug stuff mean you were actually going to do drugs? Anyway, seems there is a federal law about weapons, and the kid who had the book bag was a student, and since the gun was put in that book bag, he is suspended from school for one year. Automatic. Stupid kid.
