Heck, they can never predict the weather here. It was suppose to rain all day, stop for the night, and then snow tomorrow afternoon into Wednesday. Well, I barely made it up the dang mountain again.
We have about four cars to look at this week with four wheel drive. I am not kidding, I really need it. I made the best out of the snow. Meet my snow woman.

This is going around the internet, but I thought it was worth posting here. I think it is sooooo sweet.
A chicken kills a poodle and is about to teach it’s baby how to eat it? How is that sweet? It’s really somehow on a level with cooking cats, you know.
I have a poodle who looks a LOT like that one, and i can assure you she will now never be allowed to hang out with your chickens.
Okay, i’m teasing…but given that your chickens DO probably outweigh that particular poodle she still ain’t hanging out with them.
hahaha Well, I can honestly tell you that when I first saw that picture, I hoped the puppy was not dead. I kept thinking why that dog would allow the hen to sit on him/her. Then I remembered that hens must displace their weight, or they would break their eggs.
However, I think our chickens probably eat bugs bigger than your wee dog! So, there will be no play dates!
In Florida we have palmetto bugs, so called because Florida natives are simply ashamed to say “Look at that freakin’ huge cockroach!” They are often large enough that my little dog could use one as a skateboard. We pay a man to come around regularly, hunt them down and smash them with a huge hammer. Perhaps i should simply get a chicken.
So what’s going on with the Bernicemobile?
Bernice is still in shop getting brakes, tires, a brain, a heart and courage. You cannot push these WV repair guys. If you do, they work slower. The stars are probably not aligned properly yet for the brake pads.

hey, and speaking of new age woo woo stuff, i read about this relatively new concept called “unschooling”, which apparently is home schooling with no currriculum at all. Apparently they let the lil heathens decide what they want to learn and how they want to learn it, relying on the misconception that the lil heathens actually WANT to learn anything.
personally i always though home schooling was a dangerous concept all by itself…but this…
now i am thinking perhaps you should promote the concept with some of your students and their families….
Don’t get me started on home schooling. I like the unschooling idea, so many in school are participating in it now anyway.
