It got to 74 today. I was darn hot in the sun. They are still calling for snow Monday night into Tuesday. If we have another day off school, we will never get out for summer vacation!!! The dogs got out of the fence twice today, but all eventually came back. I do not worry about Xena; she won’t go to anyone, but that knucklehead Brando is a different story. I was worried about RD because he is really senile.
Three different people told me I sounded drunk on that video. I was NOT…heck, what you heard was morning voice. I did start a new rug, this time adding stitches the correct way. I used a multicolored striped fabric and cut the strips the size of the stripes. I just did different colors at different times, and low and behold, I invented a tie dye rag rug. I wonder if there is a market for such things. I know this one will warm Bernice’s floor.
Right now it is the size of a dessert plate, but it will get bigger…and bigger…and bigger.

I really like this rug….very pretty….definitely a rug for Bernice! I didn’t think you sounded drunk, definitely morning voice.
I adore the new rug. It is so pretty!
I have been wanting to try this craft but I am gonna finish my large afghan before I take on any more projects. Where would I get the tool? Would Michaels have it?
OH And I had an idea for cheap cloth to use for these rugs….Old shirts, skirts and curtains from the Goodwill.
Actually, people do make these rugs out of memory clothing. Lots of possibilities.
People usually make the tool out of a toothbrush, but I found someone who sold them on line. They were about four dollars a piece. I will look up the address for you.
it’s gorgeous, and once again a tribute to your talent and committment to learning new things…it always amazes me that you don’t give up until you master this stuff…and then get bored with it…
HOWEVER, nice rugs aren’t getting you off the hook for timely lawn jockey cross dressing…i am not so easily distracted…
