Yesterday was an odd day. All day long I was uncomfortable, but not to the extent of figuring out why. There was just something off. Well, come to find out, I had my underwear on backward. Go figure!!!
At Possum Manor West we have a rabbit who comes each day to dine with the chickens. The chickens do not like this rabbit, but it comes back each afternoon anyway. They have gotten to the point that they just fuss at the beginning of the meal, and then they just accept the fact it is there. No one hurts anyone; it is just like backward underwear, not what it is suppose to be.
Carrie got a couple of photos before I stole the camera from her. I still do not have my camera back, and I need to put some things on Ebay. I should know when the missing part will be available this week. Then it has to be shipped from Mars, so I do not know how long it will be.
The rabbit arrives.
The chickens begin to chatter and scatter.
Hello…I am here for dinner.
Oh heck, let him eat.
Carrie got this great photo of what it has done in North Carolina for a month….rain. They said we have had five days in the the last thirty in which it did not rain.

We have a squirrel we cannot…now it is could not…keep out of the bird feeder. I must have chased him out five times an evening. He chewed huge holes in the darn feeder, and he made it unusable. I bought a new one, made of metal this time, and he cannot get to it. He is furious. I got a little of his temper tantrum the other day, as Pippin chased him up a tree.
ok, I can’t read any further because the tears are rolling down my cheeks from laughing so hard that you wore your underwear backwards and didn’t know it…LOL
were they canary yellow by any chance…..HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! ;~)
Remember that? We were all ready to go on the Alaskan cruise, and I washed my new white underwear with a bright yellow t-shirt.
I honestly did not know my underwear was on backward until that evening. Kept wondering why I had the urge to walk backward.
I laugh so hard too at the underwear. Bet you don’t do that again. As for the rabbit, he is cute. Let him eat as long as he does harm the chickens.
Now the squirrel is another story. Give Pippin an extra treat for guarding the bird feeder and chasing the squirrel away. Squirrels are pestly and do not share.
