Part two is going to be video, so prepare yourselves. The video camera is in the car, and I will get it out later. I drove home in such horrible rain, that I left everything in the car. I was not going out in it again. I have never driven in such rain. The water was actually deep on the road in places. I would have stopped but I was in an area without cell reception, and I did not want to be stranded.

Carrie’s garden is thriving. Some has had to be replanted because of being flooded by all the rain. The dog dug up some of too.  Oh we have a rabbit in the chicken yard!  Carrie is going to get a photo. It shows up in the evening to help the chickens eat their grain. They have a fit and run around as if someone is chasing them, and then they settle down and coexist.  The cat joined them one day, and all were fine. Odd place, Possum Manor West. Everyone gets along, and everything grows. Actually the only ones that do not get along that well is Brando and Max, but that is dominant male problem.

Here are some of the pictures I took yesterday:

I think this one really good, actually.  Ann’s mom planted these roses, and they bloom and bloom and bloom.

This is inside the greenhouse. Dang it is hot in there.

This is either broccoli or Brussel sprouts, cannot remember which.

These are chickens. lol  I brought them spinach and apples. Notice the plucked butt of the one to the left. Darn Cecil keeps his woman like that for some reason.  He is the one in the nearest the deck, just watching his woman all the time. Silly boy.

This is the one egg we are allowing the hen to sit on. Carrie takes all the others out each day. When it hatches it will be moved, with its mother, to a safe place.  She is so determined that I hope she gets a chick soon.

Rhododendron. They are almost at the end of their blooming time; there is more on the ground than on the bushes. We have a wild azalea  blooming behind the chicken house which is bright orange. Beautiful.

Tomatoes….I cannot wait. I am dreaming of fresh tomatoes and mozzarella salad.

Notice all the rocks. They just keeping coming out of the ground.
