We had many leisurely cups of coffee this morning, and then we headed to Manistee. There we hit the Little River Casino to test our luck. I walked in, placed a dollar on number 8 at the roulette wheel, and it hit!!! I got $35, and Ann said, “Let’s go now while you are ahead.” Did I listen. No I did not, and it went down hill for me from there. I lost the winnings and a bit more. Ann, on the other hand, doubled her money at, believe it or not, the penny machine.
She is still walking around singing, “I won money at the casino…I won money at the casino.” We had fun.
Then we went to Lake Michigan at Manistee. It was just beautiful. Certainly I took many pictures, but I will only put up a couple.
From there we went over to Lake Michigan at Ludington. I knew a great strip of beach that stays pretty empty. We wanted to at least put our feet in.
Lake Michigan beaches are really beautiful. Ann had fun hunting through the driftwood. I marched around in the water.
We had a great dinner out and came back to relax. I have more photos to post, but I don’t want everyone’s servers to crash. Tomorrow’s weather is iffy, so we do not really know what we are doing. if it is nice, we will go to the beach. If it is rainy, we will either go to Traverse City or back to Manistee and the casino. Do I dare tell Ann there is a casino in Traverse City?
