My friend Sal from New Jersey is here. Each year when he visits, he makes the best pasta sauce in the world. I freeze it into portions, and we eat well all winter. This year he also made a triple batch of chicken spadina, which is one of my favorites.
He makes tomato basil sauce, which is my favorite. He makes many others, but this is my choice. It takes a week or two just to get the garlic smell out of the house, but the up side is that we never see a vampire.
We are heading to Linville Cavern and Falls today, so I should have some good photos. I am waiting to hear from the chicken coop guy, and hopefully I will have a coop this weekend.
Poor Brando took the passing of RD the hardest, I think. He whined and moped for days. He never did lose sleep.
