Saturday and so much to do

Not complaining….I love errands, I really do.  I have to go get some fabic because ….get this…..I sold a rug on Etsy. (Etsy.com is a place you sell hand made goods. It is where we got the flowers for Kno Nutz.) I SOLD A RUG!!! And not any rug….a four foot one!  I need to get some fabric swatches today to photograph the woman to approve. Then I will start. It will probably take me a month, but it is good money. Only problem is: She wants the main color to be WHITE for her toddler’s room. Do I have a moral obligation to tell her she is crazy?

My friend Jan sent me a soup package. I was so shocked. The box was full of soup starters, noodles, matzo ball mix and lots of other things, most Manischewitz brand which I cannot get here. I am going to have so much fun!!

Still no luck on the freezer. I found one for $150, but his story kept changing. First it was a new one that was damaged at Lowes, so the handle was gone. Then it was only used a month. So I did not go there, besides we do not want to pay that much.

I found a wonderful blog written by two 82 year old women, mostly written by one of them.(Margaret and Helen just click on the link.)  It is really a wonderful read. I did not find it on my own, I found it through Becky, so give her the credit for the good read.

Photos to be added later.

the ladies are amazing! Thank you! And thank you, Becky, whoever you are!

RE: the freezer…IF it was damaged at Lowe’s and new…then go find a really new damaged one at Lowe’s. Is there a scratch and dent appliance store in one of the towns around you? We get all our appliances at a scratch and dent store at DEEP discounts, AND they come with warranties.

RE: rugs and morality: it is my firm opinion that people have a complete and total right to be idiots. Congratulations on the sale.

LOL…I am Ann’s Niece. Her oldest brother, Larry, is my Dad.

  4. pam says:

Well, then along with providing great reading you also come from a fine family.
