…..for so much this year. We had dinner at Ann’s brother’s today, and I am still stuffed. Ann’s brother and his wife live about forty-five minutes south east of us and have a wonderful winter view. The first photo is from their driveway when we arrived.
This one is my favorite. It was taken off their back deck around three this afternoon.
Pretty huh? And get this….I took them with my new phone..I was amazed at the quality. We are expecting bad weather tonight ….
Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain showers early. A slight chance of snow showers this evening…then a chance of snow and rain showers after midnight. Snow accumulation up to 1 inch possible. Windy with lows in the lower 30s. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph. Gusts up to 45 mph. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.
But here, 50% precipitation usually means it will not happen. I will take a picture in the morning if it does happen.

yeah, i am thankful too, among other things, i am thankful for your blog…which has become one of the high points of my internet experience. Once again the pictures are amazing, by the way. AND of course i am thankful it might snow there, and not here. While i do miss fall, i do NOT miss snow, not one bit. And, you know, i am thankful for the amazing little group of “commenters” you’ve accumulated here…amazing group of people, and always an interesting read. I am even thankful for chickens, although i admit to feeling a momentary twinge of guilt today as i cooked, and ate, one of their relatives, however distant. I am even thankful for Ann, whose love of fire, VW vans and all things tie dyed leaves me feeling like i have at least something in common with someone (although she still scares me).
Life is good.
I am thankfull for my family and friends and my health.
Speaking of health has Ann gotten any of her results back of the other tests she was going to take. She’s still in my thoughts and prayers.

Pam, I too am grateful for Kathie’s blog, ever morning, noon and night I look to see if something new has been added,
and thank you for being thankful that we met here, I feel the same way about all the people who post on this blog. Maybe, hopefully, one day we will meet in person. 
I am especially thankful for my beautiful family and friends, for new additions to my family (Sarah’s boyfriend and maybe, one day, our son-in-law), and I am very thankful for the vanilla you gave me that made the coconut cake the best I have ever made!!
I am very thankful for this great blog and everyone who participates to the great discussions. I never thought I would learn so much about Chickens from you but I have…and maybe one day it will come in handy. LOL
