That is so cute. Thanks for sharing.
So glad Kathie and Norma liked this video. I thought they were darling and so carefree. Mom looks pretty protective too. Pretty sweet.
the sweetest video
I wonder why I eat meat after looking at that, I am ashamed…
you eat meat so we do not end up like those folks in India who cannot take half a dozen steps without being ankle deep in sacred cow shit. You eat meat so those cute baby moose do not live in an area so overrun with their relatives that they starve to death. And you eat meat so we don’t have to try to figure out how to put condoms on large mammals to control their population more humanely.
we all think of “mother nature” as some nurturing, wonderful, sweet, gentle thing. Mother Nature is truly a bitch on wheels, though, sending famines and disease and freaking earthquakes to control what we won’t.So, yeah, i’ll eat the moose and feel no guilt.
really cute video, though
(ha! i am in a mood, can y’all tell?)
Do people actually eat moose? Except for Pam, who in this mood could eat one raw.lolol
Actually, I do not eat meat, so they are safe at my house until Ann comes home.
I would like to announce that it is 50 degrees and sunny today!!!!!!
People at work go west to hunt moose in the fall. Me, I don’t think I would like to eat moose. There is a place in Northville, Michigan were you can get a moose burger.
By the way. It is 41 degrees here in Michigan today. And the sun is out. I washed my vehicle, so watch it snow tomorrow. lol
Amen Pam!
I have some wonderful Deer Sausage and Deer Cubed Steak in my freezer….It is the best stuff ever!!!
Love the video. I’m stealing it for Facebook…LOL.
Very cute video!
maybe not quite raw, Kathie, although i am not opposed to a little “black and blue”. Can’t recall that i have ever eaten moose, but buffalo is good, and there is nothing in the world like venison chili.
i am really glad it warmed up a bit, by the way….but like anything else, when the warm glow fades a bit it’ll just make the cold seem worse. The lady next door has oranges and limes on the trees in her yard. Oh, and half of her bazillion cats are in heat. Just thought that you might want to know that even though i am not cold i AM suffering.
i had a roommate who had a cat once. It started squalling one day, and i asked what was wrong with it. When she said it was in heat i put it in a box and took it to the vet. they said, We can’t spay it today. I told them that was fine and that they should keep it until they could. Then i went home. You can imagine how happy i am to be living next to the cat lady.
is there a country where cats are part of the diet? if so i could get some recipes, and maybe borrow Ann’s gun?
those in VNam eat cat. other countries cat is eaten as well…
other countries also eat dog.
I would not eat Buffalo, Deer, or Moose. Somethings do not have to be eaten, just to satisfy our taste buds or curiousity.
still, looking at the moose video, I am ashamed of eating meat. I am not saying eating meat is right or wrong, I am questioning my own sense of eating other sentient beings. And they are sentient beings yes. And personally I think we humans have crossed all boundaries of respect for other animals. It is us that have over ran the population, it is us that put other sentient beings in harms way. Thats my story and I am sticking to it, not fussing, just debating…
It was 41 today and is supposed to be 40 tomorrow, BUT starting Sunday night and into Monday here in Michigan (Detroit Metro area) we are expecting 5″-8″ of snow….so don’t put on sandals yet! It ain’t over….
