Didn’t I Move to the South????

Last year this area received about five inches of snow, total. This year we have had over thirty, and it is only the middle of February. We had no school on Thursday, were sent home early on Friday, had more snow on Saturday, and are to be hit again tonight. If we miss tomorrow, we have to go on a Saturday in March. We are totally running out of possible make up days. It is crazy.

Saturday morning:
That is sage on my dashboard. Carrie put it in our cars, as the Native Americans believe it keeps you safe. I needed it Saturday.

OMG, I couldn’t finish watched the videos because I am laughing so hard at Ann’s comment when she said good night jimbob, goodnight maryellen…..I busted out laughing and now my ribs hurt.

Ann and Kathie….THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for those HYSTERICAL video’s. Loved ‘em and almost wish I was there with ya having a good time that you seem to be having. God bless ya hahahahaha :)

Very amusing watching two grown women acting like little kids. Glad Kathie finally got that bug out….she grew up in Michigan and should have remembered how to rock the car to get out. Caught just the top of Ann’s head and feet….how come no wave at the camera bits whaere we can see you huffing and puffing. Also, to haul a big tank like that up a big hill….where’s your sled? Or cardboard box that slides on ice. Much easier and more fun, plus what a great video for us.

Jealous you have so much snow!!! We have 4″ on the ground here, but all the roads are totally dry. That’s what happens up North!

I am so sick of snow!! There is nothing much else to say about the snow except I am sick of it and I never thought I would ever say that! I was always the one that would wish for snow…because we never really would get a lot of snow. 2 events at 4 inches each per winter was normal for us. We had that 8 inches by midnight during the Dec 18th snow. There have only been a handful of days since Dec 18th that I have been able to see my whole yard without snow. Eventually it will all end and I will appreciate the Spring all that much more because of it. HAHA

I LOVE the videos!! You should do more! MORE I say!! HAHA

I love the videos! Yall are some tough women! If it was not in the house after the snow hit, I would not have gone out for it. Period, end of story.
Something about Ann’s voice, I can’t put my ear to it . Seriously, all these years and I still love her voice. I am hearing something in her voice that I do not hear in others. What is it!!!!! Is it a southern bell, a certain mixture of Atlanta and NC Mountains, I dunno.
Am I the only one that is struck by her voice.
Okay enough about Ann and her voice.
Kathy u amaze me, the things u do, the things u think to do, the things…. Slipping, slidding and filming LOL.

okay, my air conditioner is running right this moment.
Ann? My next door neighbor has cats. She doesn’t have one or two cats, she has about a bazillion cats. Her backyard looks like a freaking jungle and there are statues of saints all over the damn place. We actually have a chain link fence, but we’ve installed bamboo panels on that side because all those damn saints looking at me really creeped me out. Trust me, you do not want to live next door to me. And the family on the other side is really cool, so i don’t really want them replaced. But y’all are welcome here. You are especially welcome here if you enjoy gardening or landscaping and stuff. And what the hell, you know, we DO have a casino on a reservation not so far away…and schools- we have schools. No snow days, though, so i dunno if Kathie could cope. HA! I really will have to go film the egrets playing in the grass for you. However, my green videos will never top any of yours.

Kathie – did you forget all the winter sirvival tricks that you learned from Michigan? Rule 1: Don’t go out unless you have too. lol I think it is funny how she could not get the bug out of the snow.

Kathie – stick to the 4W drive until all the snow and mud is gone. You will be better off.

  8. gena says:

the old bugs, and I had two super beetles, would have gotten through all that with no trouble. of course they were sticks and not automatics!

  9. Dianna says:

Gena, Laverne and Shirley is perfect for the two of them…..LOVE IT!! hahahahaha :)
