OMG! That looks like so much fun and doesn’t even look cold since they didn’t even have ski parkas on. What great hills, unlike here in Michigan where it’s pretty flat. Even the doggies looked like they enjoyed it!

OK, it is now Michigan’s turn for snow. It is snowing now and they say that we can get up to 10″ or more before it is done tomorrow. They tell us that this is the first real storm we have had all winter. I think we had a few earlier. But, I am not the weather person.

We have a lot of hills up north, but there are usually trees in the way. So if one tried that there, you would have to be pretty good at steering the boat around them. I don’t think they would let someone go on the roads like they do the snowmobiles. But, it does look like fun.

It has snowed here and we have about 5-6 inches but we’re under a winter storm warning for a blizzard, today is Wednesday it started snowing after midnight and it’s not supposed to stop until tomorrow morning. I might just get out that canoe and go snow canoeing. lol

  6. pam says:

well, they say we’re going below 40 tonight, which means my little dogs get to try on their new hoodies. It’s like 80 right now, so that’s a little difficult to believe, but it can happen.

  7. Dianna says:

Well the blizzard left enough snow for two AWESOME days of sleigh riding, too bad I didn’t have a canoe. LOL :)

Did you get enough for schools to close? We were released early on Wednesday, had no school on Thursday, and released early again today. We are going to be going on Saturdays soon. I want spring!!!!!

  9. Norma says:

We got 7 inches and they closed the schools on Wednesdays only, here. Our wonderful city plowed out all the neighbors, which was a surprise. My one daughter did not have to work because of the school closings, so she kept her son home from day care so she could spend time with him. They say we might get more snow on Sunday or Monday.

yes, Kathie we had two snow days. I hope to take the kids tubing tomorrow in PA at one of the ski resorts. Never done it and it sounds like loads of fun! We’re also expected to get another storm here on Monday.

  11. Dianna says:

Happy Valentine’s day to both of you, miss you both!! :)
