Finally, the flowers are showing their heads above the ground.

The cats are enjoying the nice weather. Boogie, whose baptismal name is Dame Tess of Possum Manor, likes to pose.

Pippin is the Olga Korbut of Possum Manor. He will walk the balanace beam whenever possible.

Poor Maudie is seventeen. She is well, except she decided that the back of the closet made a good kitty litter. She is now banned from not only the closet but also the guest room. If this continues, she will not….if you get my gist.

Lucille is two weeks old, and she if fiesty.

  1. Cats are sooooo cute. Lucille is cute, too. I wonder why she has a lot of light color to her. Will the color get darker like the other black chickens? Which one is Lit Sprout? He must be the same size as the others.

  2. She is a lot lighter than Lil Sprout was at her age. Maybe her mom is really the buff one. One of the black ones hatched her, but I have no idea who laid the egg. I cannot tell which one is Sprout anymore. If he is truly a rooster, it will be obvious soon.

  3. My thoughts too on the buff one being the real mom. Maybe the blacks ones just like sitting. If Lil Sprout is a rooster, then I hope they do not fight. Keep us posted.

  4. Hopefully Spring is right around the corner and your cats are much more talented than mine are, lol.

  5. I can no longer access my web site from school. Grrrr So I cannot comment during the day.

    Thoughts:
Where the heck is Becky and pam?

I have the croup. I sound a bit like Lauren Bacal.

We had Saturday school, and I came home sick and did nothing until this morning. I do feel better, I have been living on that new Garorade Zero stuff. No calories, no fake sugar.

What is with this tiny font? Are all you seeing it or is it just my computer?

I have Friday, Monday, and Tuesday off. The rest of the week they took back for snow days. I plan to switch out winter clothes, clean the chicken coop, go visit Possum Manor West, and maybe read.

The hot tub is still sitting on our deck. The top was sold and the actual working parts are gone. I will put up a photo of the shell in hopes that someone wants to make a garden or something out of it. I still have to put up the chicken coop. We could use the money for all spring flowers we are talking about.

My friend Tena and I started a gym plan a few months ago. We committed. She is down about two sizes now; I have not gone but the day I committed. I do not know what it takes to get me going.

I will post this weekend. Lucille is getting more and more independent.

  6. Font looks the same on my computer. It must be rough having school on Saturday. I go back to work on 4/12 and I know it will be rough for me. I wish I could stay home all the time. But I can’t retire yet. Can’t afford to with things the way they are today here in Michigan.

  7. i’m right here. Got a kind of newish project going with work that is taking up most of my available time. The latest foster dog (Yes, Don the killer attack dog) went off to his new permanent home yesterday. Jack is about to start doggie rehabilitation. He has eaten about 600 tee shirts since he got here. Bonnie ate a Flip video, though, so i do not know who is worse.

I think it’s awesome that it’s spring finally- and i agree that Saturday school sucks- but it’s the price y’all have to pay for having four seasons.

Anyway..i’ll have everything caught up soon…

  8. I am here. I still check here everyday. Nothing much going on around here so just chatting with friends and brushing up on Esperanto. :-)
