Eggs, cats, sedation and other fun things

Intrigued?  Oh you should be.

The chickens have decided that the six huge eggs are just too much for one hen, so two are down sharing them. They divided them up and now sit side by side on three eggs each. Today when I tried to take a picture, one of them jumped out of the house, and the other scrambled to sit on all of them.

The small one in the center is from one of my hens. I have since taken it out.  Here they are:

How different are they in size?

Possum Manor’s eggs are the ones on the right.

We love Maudie, but she has decided that the world is her kitty litter. Drives Ann nuts that Maudie has the whole woods but chooses to go in the front yard. Even the new post hole has not gone unnoticed by her.

As for my procedure, it was really not much. Every two years I have to go in for a endoscopy. I had a choking problem a few years ago, and they went in and stretched my esophagus. There was a possible problem because of acid, but they are treating that. He said things looked good, and he anticipated no problem with the lab work. If that is the case, I do not have to go back for three years this time. I could post the photos he gave me, but I have not yet used the scanner on the new printer. Ann was there with her damn camera phone though, so you get one. I swear I am not drunk!
