I just want to announce that I go back to school next Thursday and blogs will not be coming at quite the rapid rate they have this summer. Once the depression of again realizing I am a member of the working class lifts, I will blog a couple of times a week.
I think the heat had something to do with the failure of our flower boxes to thrive. Pippin’s sleeping in them certainly did not help either.
The bugs like the flowers, so I guess I am helping to create a food instead of beauty.
Okay, a butterfly is not a bug.
Is a beetle a bug?
This my tomato. It has grown a butt crack, which is very off center. I am sure it will have trouble sitting.
There are three plants, and they have lots of flowers, just not lots of tomatoes.
There is one other little tomato. Not enough for a salad.
Cute isn’t it? I am not going to get attached, or I will not be able to eat it.
Opps, I had not noticed the beetle.

Nice pictures. That tomatoe looks like twins attached. Is there 2 stems there?
Have you ever thought about making a quilt with all your flower pictures? They would make a nice photo quilt, or memory quilt as some know them by.
I do not have the patience to quilt. I would start to use staples to finish and it would look horrible.
You can do it all on a machine now. It is easy with a machine. The binding is the only thing I do by hand, unless I am doing something special that needs hand work.
okay, i cannot imagine anyone looking at a tomato and seeing a butt crack- it was a novel idea- and one that had me smiling for hours.
I once again LOVE the pictures of the flowers and I especially like the butt crack in the tomatoe, LOVE IT!
I have always thought butts were funny. heeheehee
