Before I begin looking back…I want to say that it is a true fall day today, and it is only in the low 40′s. Remember my soup blogs? I need to do that again. Yesterday I made roasted carrot with ginger soup, and it is really, and I mean really good. We tasted it yesterday, but we are having it tonight with some crusty bread. Ahhhhh fall.
This is my brother, Dave, and he is eating a turkey leg at the Renaissance Festival. Lots of people were walking around eating those things. His was rather dry, but he chowed down into it anyway.
This man was dressed as a tree. Amazing costume. I think you were suppose to pay him to take the photo, but I took a couple on the sly. It was really a great costume.
This guy was a potted plant, another great costume.
This was our knight. Each side of the arena had a knight to cheer for during the jousting. I forgot his name, but he won.
After the jousting they knights “fought” it out. The knight our guy is fighting here held the record in disqualifications. lol
The queen watched from above, and every once in a while she would comment. (My photos have a glare because I was shooting directly into the sun.)
It was a fun day.
I am about halfway though the photos I want to post. More tomorrow or the next day!!!!!
